




Emer - Soprano
Emer Barry has been christened 'the glam one' by the group as she is rarely seen out of high heels. She has been singing and dressing up as soon as she was able to talk and walk!

She was 11 when she won the girls vocal solo competition at the 100th anniversary of the Feis Ceoil gaining her headlines in National newspapers and a bouquet of flowers from the Taoiseach (Ireland's Prime Minister) She went on to study Music and Italian in UCD followed by a Masters in Music Performance specialising in Opera.

She has been the recipient of many prestigious awards over the years including the John Mc Cormack Award, the RTÉ Lyric fm bursary and she was the only classical voice finalist in the RTÉ RAAP Breakthrough Awards. She was chosen as the voice of Disney's new ad campaign for Disneyland Paris.

Emer is a professional opera singer. She has trained with English National Opera in London and full roles include Serpina in La Serva Padrona, Fulvia in La Pietra del Paragone, First Lady in The Magic Flute with Glasthule Opera and Lismore Opera and she was delighted to be incited to join Columbia Artists Management's new show 'Songs of Ireland which will toured the States in 2019.
